CSC was the only company to research and develop the first NICHD EFM Certification Course
nationwide, abcdEFM: The Course-2Day. CSC offers a variety of EFM Courses to meet the needs of all levels
of practitioners at all levels of expertise. ALL COURSES ONLY INCORPORATE 1997 & 2008 Updates of NICHD GUIDELINES
& TERMINOLOGY. Each course includes a Post Testing/Certification Option for knowledge retention validation. Through
CSC CoSponsorship, hospitals/hospital systems/corporations may host any CSC EFM course on-site.
· abcdEFM:
Critical Core Concepts: This course
is recommended for staff members with less than 2 years clinical experience in EFM training. Core Concepts in EFM interpretation
by NICHD requirements are enhanced with periodic breakout sessions for critical thinking enhancement.

abcdEFM: Advanced Course-2
Day (Certification/Review Course): This
is an excellent course for all practitioners with previous EFM training and experience > 2 years who require knowledge
of the NICHD guidelines and terminology as they apply to all aspects of EFM: interpretation, documentation, and communication.
Participants may utilize the course as a review for the NCC EFM Exam or sit for the CSC EFM-EXAM
· abcdEFM: Advanced-1 Day:
Any perinatal practitioner responsible for interpretation
of EFM to include: Nurses, Nurse Midwives, Residents, & Physicians with greater than 5 years experience will benefit from
this one day update to include the NICHD guidelines

abcdEFM: Update (Half
Day/4 Hrs): This is an excellent annual follow up course once
staff have completed the Advanced-1 Day.
· abcdEFM: Master Course (2 Day): All levels of practitioners
with at least 5 years clinical experience in EFM skill may attend. Advanced concepts in perinatal asphyxia,
fetal dysrhythmias, uterine & fetal intolerance, acid-base testing, and multiple advanced critical thinking skills through
case study analysis.
